Oh what a proud Mama moment

My kids amaze me every day.  I’m not gonna lie.  Sometimes that is a good thing.

Sometimes not so much.  Winking smile

Being a single mom is a lot harder than I realized it was going to be.  My kids fight all the time  I don’t know if it is their age or our circumstances, but it seems like lately it gets worse every day.  I didn’t appreciate my time I did get to myself before my ex left.

School is rough this year.  We have been doing it for a couple of weeks now.  It has been slow going.  But, we are finally getting on track.  Today, Griffin’s assignment was to write a thank you letter.  It was supposed to be to someone who has done something nice for you.

Well, of course he couldn’t think of anyone.  (HELLO,  MEEEEEEE?)  I didn’t say this, of couse, lol.

So without delay here is my son’s thank you letter.   He hates writing anything so I am pretty impressed that he got more than two sentences down.

Dear Chic-Fill-A:

Thank you for the great food at low prices.  I mean, your chicken tastes like it was cooked in God’s oven.  And your fries are like little hashtags of goodness.  You have awesome sweet tea.  Your bathrooms are always clean.  So, I guess I just want to say. . . .  THANK YOU!

                                                                                    Love, Griffin.

A little smart alec?  Maybe.   It does make me think though.  I never thought about it but their waffle fries do look like little hashtags, lol.   thI’m really glad he didn’t say the chicken is like eating a baby angel (he sometimes does).

Oh, the joys of homeschooling.   I love it.  One of life’s little things that make me smile and realize I am Blessed.

Happy Homeschooling.   .
