I have to admit this is one of my favorite reviews I’ve done so far. I mean who doesn’t like cereal, a toy and a movie. I received includes one box of Trix cereal, a Penguins of Madagascar launcher and the new Penguins of Madagascar movie, The Penguins of Madagascar Operation: DVD Premier.
This summer you will find penguins inside of specially marked General mills cereals. No, not a real penguin, silly. The new Penguins of Madagascar characters are hiding inside the boxes on a character launcher. If your kid is like mine, there favorite cereal is dictated by the toy in the box. We loved the Trix and my kids ate the entire box in just 2 days. We also received 2 of the character launchers to try out. On the back of the box there are mission details that you can try:
You will receive one of the five characters from the popular movie, The Penguins of Madagascar; Skipper, Rico, Kowalski, Private or King Julien in the box of cereal.
Each character is different and has their own specific role, and together, they´re a team with lots of character. With all five character launchers to collect, your summer will be a splash while you try to complete all of the above missions. My kids favorite mission was to try to shoot them over the box. They got pretty good at all of the missions.

I have a serious problem at my house. I have tons of plastic containers to keep stuff in but I can never find the lids. I’m pretty sure that they go the same place that lost socks go in our house. I think that one of these days I will wake up to a room full of socks and Tupperware lids.
I have found the solution to the lost lids, though. I received a Variety Pack of Covermate Food Covers as part of a review for Mama Buzz. I have used them for a cup with left over pizza sauce, sloppy joe for my lunch, a plate of food for my grandma, to cover my homemade laundry soap (that’s my favorite) and a container of mini-cupcakes I took to work. They stretch to fit any shape. This one was too big but worked perfectly. No more matching up sizes which is great.
The variety pack comes with 10 covers and includes 4 medium, 4 large and 2 extra large. There was also a free bonus small can cover included in the box I received. When you buy them at the store Covermate covers are sold in individual boxes of medium size covers (12 ct), large size covers (10 ct) and our new Variety Pack (10 ct) which contains a selection of medium, large and extra large size covers. I really love the fact that they are microwave safe. Be careful though, because the steam escaping once it is finished is very hot. I wouldn’t let your children get food out if you are using these.
Another great thing about these is that they are dishwasher safe for the top rack. The only problem with this is that I can’t get my husband to realize that these are not disposable. Okay, so maybe I do know where all of those lost lids and socks go.
You can get your own sample pack of CoverMate Food Covers at www.covermatecovers.com for Free . You just pay $3.95 S&H. With the sample pack, your will also receive a $1.00 off coupon for their next purchase. You can follow CoverMate on Twitter and become a fan on Facebook, as well.Or even better yet, would you like to win a free box? Our closets have always been a problem in our house. The kids never hang up their clothes or coats. The floor is really where all of these things end up unless I pick them up. I am always looking for a quick fix for these problems.
Have you heard of the Wonder Hanger? It is an affordable tool that's great for any Spring Cleaning features. This cascading clothes organizer increases closet space by enabling you to stack clothes vertically. Each Wonder Hanger holds 5 wood, metal or plastic hangers. There are 8 hangers to a package – enough to hang 40 garments. The open-mouth design allows you to easily add or remove your jackets, skirts, pants and shirts. Supporting up to 20 pounds, it can hold up to 5 heavy winter jackets.
You can use it to group complete outfits or similar items, organize by color or season, and hang handbags or belts.
I had seen the wonder hanger on TV and thought it would be a great thing for our coat closet. We have a very small closet. With 4 people in our family, we do not have enough room for all of the coats, jackets and purses that we keep there. I received The Wonder Hanger to try out in our home through Mama Buzz. The kids were so excited to get this. They both took several of them to their rooms and “hung” them up. This was after I put them together. They were kind of hard to get the rings in the holes but after noting how hard to push after the first one, I didn’t have any problem.
I need to organize the kids closet’s but haven’t had the time to do that yet.
We have taken all of our winter coats and hung them on the Wonder Hanger. This has eliminated our “mess” in our closet. There is now room for the spring jackets. I have also hung all of my purses on one of the hangers. This saved “huge” space. My husband no longer tells me he is going to get rid of them because they are all over the floor of the closet.
To use these, you just hang your hangers (whatever type) in the 5 slots. Once you have your items on it, you just drop one side of the hanger down. You now have 1/5 of the space taken up in your closet. These were really good for our family and worked well.
It retails for $9.99 and can be purchased at major retail chains including Walmart, Target, Bed Bath and Beyond and CVS and online at http://www.buywonderhanger.com/. Right now when you buy one on the website you can get one free (you only pay shipping for the second set).
But, guess what? I have been given the opportunity to give a set of these away for FREE. If you would like a chance to win this, please leave a comment. You can also get an extra chance by doing the following:
