Bella’s Christmas Dress

Just wanted to show everyone Bella’s dress I made today. Thanks for all of your help Debbie. Thanks Allie for your $300.00 dress you let us cut up for the skirt :) I’m going to find the picture of Allison at her Prom in it so you can see what it started out like. It’s amazing what a few hours, scissors and a sewing machine can accomplish.

I added the pink around the neck of the shirt and it didn’t turn out quite like I wanted it to but it still looks gorgeous on her and she LOVES it. Please don’t pay attention to her hair. She had tried the shirt on about 8 times before this picture and it was getting really crazy from all the static.

She wants me to make a pair of pants out of the black material to match the shirt so she can wear the outfit all day. I told her the skirt was too fancy for Christmas day to go everywhere. This is just for pictures and church. So, I guess I just made more work for myself.

Lori-You are a quick study...a gifted mommy. I'm looking forward to seeing those pants. If you need more fabric, my crushed velour piece might just work. Before you buy...stop by.
