Eating Progressive Soup is a great way to lose weight. Soup is low in calories and fat. Now, when I eat soup, I usually feel full for all of about 30 minutes. Then it feels like I haven’t eaten anything in days. Usually, soup just doesn’t do it for me. Unless of course, I have a big ol’ grilled cheese sandwich with it (which we know isn’t very healthy). I received Progressive’s Reduced Sodium soup as part of this prize pack from My BlogSpark. One was Tomato Parmesan and David ate the other one as soon as it came and threw away the can. (He did say it was delicious!) I also received a great Progressive Soup mug and an exercise ball.
Many Americans are trying to get healthy and Progressive is all about helping us out. High cholesterol is a huge problem and the reduced sodium Progressive soups may help lower cholesterol along with an exercise program okayed by the your doctor and a diet high in fiber (See note). Notice the Red banner across the top that states “May Help Lower Cholesterol”? This is what you want to look for on the soup can if you are concerned about a hearty healthy diet. It never hurts to be proactive when it comes to your health.
Five Progresso Reduced Sodium favorites - Italian Style Wedding, Minestrone, Garden Vegetable, Beef and Vegetable, and Chicken Gumbo - contain hearty vegetables and legumes to provide 1g of heart healthy soluble fiber in every bowl.
And be sure to keep an eye out for the all-new Tomato Parmesan Reduced Sodium soup at your local grocery store for a unique blend of delicious flavors. Although soup isn’t may favorite meal, Progressive soup is very good. I really like the Garden Vegetable. One thing I really like about is that you don’t have to add water to it. It is ready to heat and eat right out of the can. It is great because the kids can make it right in the microwave. They also have a great pull tab to open the can so you don’t even need a can opener.
The exercise ball that we received has gotten a lot of use. While I know I am supposed to be exercising with it, honestly, the kids have had much more fun with it than me. Bella has practiced back handsprings with it and uses it for a stool when playing the recorder. It makes a great stabilizing ball and can knock everything off of the counter with one bounce. (I speak this one from experience.) Of course, it also would be great for exercise, LOL.
