Just keepin’ it real

 image

Coming home from eating at Chic Fillet today I saw a sign that made me smile.

The sign itself wasn’t funny.  It was the fact that there were 6 of them.  On a small house and garage.  They were on trees.  Keep out.

Everywhere. Keep out.

It makes me wonder what is wrong with me that I really, really want to see what is going on there.

I mean, come on.

One keep out sign should be enough.  I wonder what they’re hiding?

Sometimes I wonder if I should have a keep out sign.  Not on my house.  But on me.   There are so many things that I don’t want others to know about me and my life.  God wants me to be real.

Open.

But there are things that I am ashamed of.  How about you?

I have made so many mistakes.  I try to hide them from everyone.  Even God.

I believe with all my heart that God’s Grace covers all of my sins.

How amazing is that?  All my sins.

Not just the little ones.  Or the big ones.  But all of them.

II Corinthians 12:9
And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for My strength is made perfect in weakness.

Praise God.  His grace covers me when I am weak.

Thank you Jesus for forgiving me for all of my sins.  I strive daily to live for you.  Let me be a blessing to all who I encounter and in all I do.

Amen.
