The Mighty Macs–Review and Giveaway

Are you looking for a family friendly movie that everyone should enjoy?   The Might Macs

is just the thing you may be looking for.  If you like basketball, you definitely won’t want to miss this movie that is based on a true story.
In 1971,  Cathy Rush is picked to coach when for the first time in history, a national champion will be crowned in collegiate athletics for women’s basketball.    Universities are preparing their teams to win the first title.
Cathy had a great career in basketball and has just married.  Her husband would rather she stay at home, but she takes a coaching job at immaculata College.
Cathy learns there is no gymnasium on campus, she receives little support from the school's Mother Superior, and the school is in dire financial straits. To top it off, she may not even have enough players to field a team!
While it appears the Macs don't have a prayer, all hope is not lost. With the help of Sister Sunday—a spunky assistant coach—and the support of a booster club of elderly nuns, Coach Rush creates a new game plan that just might bring the team—and the school—together.
I won’t give away the ending cuz I hate when people do that.  You’ll have to watch tos ee if Immaculata College wins the championship.
You can win your own copy of this DVD for your family by entering this giveaway.
