Our New Wall Maps

We went to a school auction a couple of weeks ago and bought several of the large wall maps used in classrooms. I wasn't sure if we would be able to hang one up or not but David put it in our school room tonight and I LOVE IT! We are keeping the one shown here which is an American History Map and then we have a World Map that we are hanging on the other wall. We have to get the right clips to hang it up. Don't want it falling on anyone. The kids are so excited. There are 17 different maps on this one and two on the World Map. It is about 5 feet wide.

I am really excited because we are going to be learning Early American History and this will be perfect to go along with it. We also got some school desks but don't have anywhere cleaned out to put them yet.

We have a little way to go before our "school room" is exactly like I want it; but it is getting there.
