Kinderbach Review – TOS

=image

I took piano lessons for a lot of years when I was little.  I have to admit I didn’t enjoy it.  I like to play now but as a child I hated to practice and didn’t really care if I learned to play or not.  My little girl, Bella loves to “play” the piano.  Okay, we don’t have a real piano, we have a keyboard but both of the kids enjoy making music with it.

I received a three month subscription to Kinderbach to review for TOS and Bella was very excited.   We had actually tried to use this a couple of years ago with my son and he hadn’t liked it.  I had the pleasure of meeting the creator, Kerri Gregor who has taught thousands of students at a local homeschool convention and enjoyed talking with her.  I was excited to get to try this again with Bella.   Bella liked the lessons but didn’t like the coloring pages that you can print.  She got through 30 lessons of the program.

You do not have to have a musical background of any kind for your child to use this online program.  It is designed for preschool to age 7.   The student watches a short video for each lesson and there is either a coloring sheet or activity to do related to the lesson.  Bella enjoyed learning to count beats, playing songs and learning about the piano.   Four lessons a week seemed to be a good pace for our family but you could easily work faster.  That is one of the things I really liked about this is that you can go at your own pace.

All 240 lessons of the 60-week KinderBach program are available online with your subscription. The regular subscription price is $19.99 a month. However, if you make a one-time annual payment of $95.88 US, you save 60% and the monthly cost is only $7.99.  If you have slow internet you can also get this complete program on CD for $40.45 per level.

If you have a young child who would like to learn the piano, this is a great way to save money over taking lessons from an instructor.  Check out the website to  learn how the program works. There is a 30 day money back guarantee so you have nothing to lose.  If you’re still not sure, you can  try the free two week trial to see if this might work for your child.  Please check out what my fellow crew members have to say by visiting the homeschool crew blog.

Please note that I received a three month subscription from Kinderbach at no cost in exchange for my honest opinion in this review.  No other compensation was provided to me.
