Homeschool in the Woods – TOS review

image I was given a download version of Homeschool in the Woods which included The United States and Olde World Maps as part of the TOS crew. I love to be able to have any map available to print out whenever I need them was wondering what I would use first. Then I remembered that we were going to be studying Ancient Greece in history. I quickly found the map I was looking for that included Crete and printed101_4864 one out for each of my children. They both enjoyed coloring the very detailed pictures. They also liked comparing the old maps to the current ones. They easily found the countries on the current maps. We choose to print these with the countries labeled but you can also choose a no label version. I also love that I can print only the copies I need. This helps me to not waste paper and ink. 101_4865

The next map we are going to print and use is a blank version of the US map. The kids are learning where all of the states are and this will be great to help learn their locations. This is an example of when we will need several copies to allow them time to learn all 50 states and their locations. It is great that we don’t have to pay more for extra copies.

The world map set includes more than 130 maps plus notebooking pages.

The United States map set includes over 180 maps and even more notebooking pages. All of these are hand illustrated and beautifully done. Have a look at the free samples online that they offer. You can also see other downloads that they offer on their website at www.homeschoolinthewoods.com. One thing I really like is their timeline figures. If you are tired of searching for figures to add to any timeline you use, you will find beautiful ones at Homeschool in the Woods. You can get them printed or on a CD.

Olde World Style Maps are available for $18.95 each as a downloaded product or $28.95 as a combination pack. You may also choose to purchase as a CD for $29.95 or $19.95 each.

Please check out what the other crew members have to say about Homeschool in the Woods.

** Please note that I received a free copy of these maps in exchange for my honest opinion in this review. No other compensation was provided. Thank you Homeschool in the Woods and TOS for this opportunity.
