Changing attitudes one kid at a time

One of the things I want to instill in my children is to always think of others first.   I want them to realize that words can hurt, a lot. 

Today I pray that I can be a good role model to my children so that they consider others feelings before they speak.  Let me be the person God wants me to be so that my children do not learn bad behaviors from me.    I love my family and I want the best for them.   Help me to protect them from outside influences that hurt their hearts or damage their self esteem. 

God has given me two children and I love them so much.    I will do my best to instill in them good behaviors and Christ like attitudes.

Being a good role model, isn't that key? I've had to catch myself on several occassions and apologize to the kids for my own behaviour. Not fun. But necessary. Great advice! Blessings!:)
