Old El Paso – Review and Giveaway through MyBlog Spark

 

If you ask my husband what his favorite dinner is he will definitely say tacos.   We have tacos pretty regularly in our house.  Griffin is the only one who doesn’t like them but even he will eat shells with cheese.  He just doesn’t like the meat filling or any other toppings. 

What’s your favorite way to have tacos?  Old El Paso sent me a packet of Old El Paso Taco Seasoning, a Cactus Chip & Dip Serving dish, a set of 3 Fiesta Chili Pepper serving dishes and a $10 gift card to purchase taco fixings.  David couldn’t wait so we used the goodies the very day I got them in the mail.  

Old El Paso offers a variety of things you can add to your tacos like refried beans and salsa.  There is something for everybody’s taste.   We like the following things on our tacos on taco night. 

• Sour cream
• Refried Beans
• Lettuce
• Tomatoes
• shredded cheddar cheese
• onions

These are the cute serving dishes we received in the prize pack.  This is a great way to serve tacos buffet style.  (Teens love this and it is so easy)

We don’t like the way the crunchy shells break up when we bite into them so we buy the pack that has both soft and hard shells.  We put the filling in the hard shell and then use cheese sauce to hold a soft shell around the crunchy one.  This is extra delicious and  not quite so messy.

We also love to use chicken instead of beef.  That’s my favorite way to eat them.
