Christmas Lodge – Review and giveaway

image
I really love Christmas. It helps our family focus on Christ. I love everything Christmas, especially movies.
I received the movie Christmas Lodge from Propeller to review. It is a movie that your entire family can enjoy. It is getting harder to find movies that you can say that about. Even PG movies are getting to be more than I want my children to watch. This past summer David and I made a decision to not watch any movies that we wouldn’t want Jesus to watch with us if he was sitting on our couch. Christmas Lodge definitely fits this criteria.
It is presented by Thomas Kinkade and there was a beautiful little 4x6 card of one of his paintings in with the movie.
Christmas Lodge is where Mary spent Christmas with her family when she was growing up. She now stumbles upon it by accident while hiking in the mountains with her boyfriend. She is hoping for an engagement ring from him but instead ends up finding a new love while at Christmas Lodge. The old lodge is falling down from old age and the weather. Mary helps the owner, Jack, get a grant to restore the historic lodge to it’s original beauty. Her family, who owns a construction business, do all of the work after her ailing grandfather offers to pay their salaries.
This is a beautifully made movie that has gorgeous scenery and a lovely Christmas message. It reminds you that when you trust in God, he can do all things.
You can view the trailer of the video here.
This is a great way to get in the mood for Christmas. I really enjoyed this movie and I think you and your family will too.
Now for the fun part. Propeller has given me a copy of this movie to give away to one of the my readers. I also am excited cuz I have a new way to do giveaways. I hope it is easier for you to enter this way. This giveaway will end on November 4th and the winner will be announced. Thank you for entering and Good Luck.
