Fantastic Chef Boy R Dee Pizza

My family loves Chef Boy-R-Dee pizza. I'm going to share our secret with you to a great pizza. You'll not be dissapointed any longer when you can't go out for pizza if you make this.

Buy the double package of pizza. Mix both packages of dough mix with the water. (I think it is 1 1/3 cups but I don't have one handy to chec
k) We use Extra Virgin Olive Oil to coat the dough. I let it sit for a lot longer than what it says on the package. I try to put it in a very warm place (on the stove works well as the oven preheats) Make sure the dough has at least tripled in size before putting on the pan. Use water on your hands to keep the dough from sticking to your hands while you spread it on the pan. I use one baking stone and one metal pan. My kids like crispy crust and my husband and I like thicker so this pleases everyone. Make sure you grease the pans so it doesn't stick. Spread out the dough and then sprinkle a little bit of garlic powder on. (You can use fresh if you have it) I also like to add Flaxseed meal to help make it a little healthier. Here is the trick to what makes ours so good. Bake the crust (by itself) for 8 minutes. This allows the crust to rise and start cooking before adding the rest of the ingredients. After this, spread the sauce on the dough. Start in the middle and work your way out to the sides. Sprinkle 1/2 of the Parmesan cheese on each pizza. Then add any toppings you would like. We love onion and fresh mushrooms. Then add shredded mozzarella cheese. You will need about 8 oz for each pizza. It is also great with thinly sliced fresh mozzarella cheese (this tends to be a little runny though). Cook another 8 minutes or until bubbly and brown on top.

Voila. We think it is better than take out and a whole lot cheaper. You can have dinner for about 6 people for around $6.o0 with the extra toppings. If you only use cheese it is cheaper.

Hope you and your family enjoy.
